Where to start?

From the beginning, that’s where. I’ve been planning this trip in my head since I first watched Long Way Round and read Louis on Loose: Red Tape and White Knuckles. Like most other adventure riders the complete versions of the aforementioned series have been viewed/read many times over. But I don’t have the luxury of taking four months to zig-zag across North America so what to do instead, take a cue from the Mobius Trip that’s what. I thank you for the inspiration that someone with two weeks of vacation at a time could still embark on an epic adventure.

First things first:

• Vacation time has been booked July 3-July 22 of 2020.

• General route has been chosen, Boston to Las Vegas

• Second bike has been purchased so I have something to ride while my Africa Twin is on recess
