Day Two

Day two started out pretty great, wheels rolling by 9am and off into the Berkshires and the Catskills. I just crossed into PA when a sudden rear flat. I found a shaded spot to pull over really quick and get the bike up on the center stand and go to work. And then the spare front tube wouldn’t seat the bead and the air compressor quit. The backup CO2 canisters put just enough in to ride but still not seat the bead…50 terrifying miles later I got to Walmart in Scranton 10min before the closed and was able to buy the worlds smallest bike pump and some tube patches. Chipotle for dinner and a close by motel and bed. At least I was able to cover ~250 miles.
