Day Five

580 miles across half of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and into Omaha, NE. The morning was awesome, good weather and good scenery. Somehow I’ve started to recognize the different looks of corn fields? Illinois was the most hot, humid, flat and straight - was hoping to see more cattle, but I guess it is the Buckle of the Corn Belt.

Southern Iowa was stunning, endless rolling hills, perfect pavement and the bike just ate the miles up. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through, US 34 is aces.

Absolutely drained but managed to grab a late dinner by the hotel and called it a night.
