Day Four

Day four started with a beautiful descent out of the Alleghany National Forest and into eastern Ohio. Then it was highway time to crush some miles. Not a whole lot to report for most of the day, just slogging along at 60mph watching the landscape change from rolling green hills to cornfields.

The vastness of the landscape is breathtaking, even if a bit monotonous at times. However darting on and off the highway to the side roads breaks it up a bit and still keeps a pretty high moving average. All in all tackled ~450miles today and looking forward to another big number day tomorrow.

Bonus today - had several cars honk/thumbs up on the freeway. Helped me push through the 90 degree heat.

Double bonus - I put temporary highway pegs on the bike and from a distance maybe it kind of looks like a Harley? I keep getting waves from Harley’s who seem surprised when they get closer to see a Honda :)
